As Americans gather to mark America's 250th anniversary, America's Roundtable, Summit Leaders USA and its strategic partners are creating and publishing "America: Our Story of Freedom," a historic, commemorative, and educational book, complemented by an online companion, covering the period from the American founding with the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 to the celebratory events on July 4, 2026.
This commemorative book is a collectible, intellectual artifact that includes the nation's founding documents, letters from America's revolutionary leaders and early statesmen, inspiring essays provided by historians and leaders in industry, arts and culture, medicine, and technology, all combined with historic paintings, classic photographs, and helpful maps. This book celebrates the enduring legacy of the nation’s first generation of leaders and captures the sacrifices, struggles, and triumphs of Americans over the nation’s 250-year history.
As an intellectual artifact and a “gift to the nation,” America: Our Story of Freedom chronologically narrates America’s history with inspiring stories of innovators, entrepreneurs, and leading figures from the fields of art, music and sports. Throughout the book, iconic images and photographs of the country’s stunning landscape will capture the beating heart of life in America.
The volume will feature essays written by respected historians, renowned authors, and leaders including Dr. Ben Carson; Dr. Victor Davis Hanson, senior fellow at Hoover Institution; Dr. Mark David Hall, Regent University; Chris Mitchell, CBN News; Wilfred M. McClay, Hillsdale College; U.S. Ambassador Peter Hoekstra; Chairman Mike Bost, House Veterans Affairs Committee and Tracy Bost, entrepreneur; Chairwoman Virginia Foxx, House Rules Committee; Keith Krach, CEO, Freedom 250; Mark Zietlow, Managing Partner, Innovative Law Group; Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, co-founders, America's Roundtable, as well as leading members of Congress, state governors, and influential Americans from key fields and industries. This book also celebrates America’s innovators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries—individuals who have shaped the nation’s legacy—demonstrating how they were empowered by free enterprise and the foundational rule of law protecting life, liberty, and private property.
By honoring our nation’s most significant achievements, showcasing America’s historic writings, and inspiring the next generation of leaders, this project seeks to secure the legacy of American exceptionalism for generations to come. America: Our Story of Freedom is dedicated to communicating to future generations the vision of our Founding Fathers by recording the fundamental Judeo-Christian values and core American principles enshrined in our original governing documents.
"Through this commemorative book project, an intellectual artifact being created and published titled, "America: Our Story of Freedom," we will be reminded through profound essays that our Republic's founding documents remain just as relevant today as they were 250 years ago, said Natasha Srdoc, co-founder, America's Roundtable and International Leaders Summit. "Our Founding Fathers affirmed the rule of law and recognized that we are endowed by unalienable rights of our Creator. We have a responsibility to safeguard our sacred rights and freedoms for future generations and to endure as a beacon of liberty to the world. In doing so, we inspire others across the globe to pursue freedom for themselves."
